Billings Call-to-Action Meeting Next Week

It is hard to believe the election is just over 2 months away.  We worked extremely hard last year to get IR-124 on the ballot, but that was not the end of our efforts.  We need to join forces once again to help people understand that they need to vote NO on IR-124.  There is a lot of confusion about whether people should vote no or yes, even among medical marijuana supporters.  It is imperative for us change that.

On Tuesday, September 4th, we will be holding an emergency call-to-action meeting in Billings from 5:30-8:30 PM (details are below). This meeting will include a screening of the documentary Code of the West. Following the screening, there will be a brainstorming session to come up with ways we can educate Montana voters about IR-124 on a very limited budget.  One idea the Billings MTCIA has been working on is a postcard to be mailed statewide prior to the election.  The postcard’s content will be up for discussion during this meeting.  We are still looking for donations to fund the postcards (as well as all other endeavors).

The meeting is open to anyone that wants to attend.  Please help spread the word.  If you are not in the Billings area and would also like to help with this campaign, please send a message to mtcia@mtcia.org with any ideas, connections, or relevant skills you might have to offer.  We need all of the help we can get.
