Important update
Update:
Lawyers for the MTCIA will be filing a Motion for Reconsideration with the court tomorrow.
This motion will effectively pause the MT Supreme Court ruling from taking effect for 15 days.
During these 15 days, the MTCIA will continue to pursue every available option to make sure patients will continue to have access to critical medicine. We are reaching out to legislators and the Governors office through professional organizations and our own lobbyist.
We implore everyone who wishes to be involved in this monumental struggle for patients rights in Montana to contact their legislator and the Governors office and ask them to put a stop to the implementation of SB 423 and its assault on patients and providers alike.
Be sure to mention:
- We believe that Montanans should have access to the medicine they need and want in a safe and legal manner.
- It is wrong, and against our rights as Americans, to allow any legislative body to undermine the will of the voter.
We will be providing updates as soon as we can verify them.
Keep up the fight! We will be here with you every step of the way!
